The people behind Steamboat Airline relations have been busy. Here is the latest set of additional flights they have added into Steamboat. Our airline program has been very successfully the last few years in adding direct flights to Steamboat. Flights should only improve now that the program has predictable tax based funding.

We are very lucky to live in Steamboat Springs, CO. Steamboat is special not only for the incredible recreation opportunities we have but because of the great people that live here and come to visit. The best part is watching Alden and Neve grow up here. As a Realtor with The Steamboat Group I help people learn what it takes to find the right property & live their own dreams in Steamboat.

Steamboat water-skiing
With all of the amazing snow we got this winter it would be shame not to keep on skiing it. Luckily for me a new friend of mine has the amazing water-ski lake here in Steamboat Springs. It is set up for the course and water-ski jumping He also allows the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club to use the lake for summer freestyle aerial practice as long as they drop in after the water-skiers go by. I think that I will stick to the course unless someone asks that is. I am curious how it will feel to ski when the kids are training and eager to take some pictures of them in such a beautiful setting with the lake and the Sundown area of Mount Werner supervising from above.

Hartley Acres is the place to be

Our friends Dave and Katherine Hartley had us out to their ranch tonight to hang out. We have all been far too busy this spring so it was nice to get some quality time with some of our very best friends. I have known the Hartleys for about 20 years now and they are one of the many reasons I and now we love Steamboat so much. We spent some time earning our keep, had a great dinner, then Alden got to ride Toots. Dave hopped on and Neve didn't want to be left out so she hopped on too. It's cool that I have also been riding Toots thanks to Dave's generousity for nearly 20 years myself and now my kids get to enjoy her too. Thanks Hartley's!

Snowshoes, Water-skiis and Hockey gear
I looked in the back of my truck this afternoon and had to smile when I realized it is not a bit out of place to have snowshoes, water-skiis & hockey gear in the back of my truck at the time and use them within a day. There is still plenty of snow half way up the mountain and I needed snowshoes to show some 35 acre parcels and the lake where we water-ski is clear of ice. We put the water-ski course in the lake today and got in some nice turns. They a lot nicer than they were but I still got into my 28 off pass so it was better than I start some times. Later that night I had a hockey game so I managed to play on every form of water but water vapor today. That's the kind of day that makes me feel lucky to live here in Steamboat...
