Warren Buffett says housing woes to end in about a year

It's nice to see Warren weigh in with some positive comments on the housing market. He is a pretty careful guy so he wouldn't say this lightly. We are seeing some low interest rates combined with pretty good deals starting to combine for some compelling deals.

Buffett Says Housing Woes to Ease Next Year, Barring Explosions
Feb. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Billionaire Warren Buffet said the U.S. residential real estate slump will end by about 2011, predicting that’s how long it will take demand for homes to catch up with the supply.

“Within a year or so, residential housing problems should largely be behind us,” Buffett wrote yesterday in his annual letter to the shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway“Prices will remain far below ‘bubble’ levels, of course, but for every seller or lender hurt by this there will be a buyer who benefits.
